FirstPort Property Services Scotland has expanded its property portfolio by taking over the operational management of two prestigious developments – Earlsgate in Scone and Muirwood Gardens in Kinross.
Both schemes, which are exclusive to the over 55s, have been developed by Juniper Residential, the new age-exclusive living brand of the Cruden Group.
The 51-unit Earlsgate development in the desirable Perthshire village of Scone, is located on the site of the former Wheel Inn and offers residents a luxurious communal lounge, reading room, and multi-function space for wellness activities and clubs.
Muirwood Gardens, situated on the site of the former Windlestrae Hotel in the historic town of Kinross, comprises a mix of 41 bungalows, villas, and cottage flats, with the added benefit of a hotel style Club Lounge. Both developments also include a luxury guest suite for visiting friends and family.
Interest in Juniper’s new developments has been strong, with many homes already sold off-plan. This mirrors the increasing appetite for independent age-exclusive schemes with desirable lifestyle offerings of shared communities and less home maintenance and garden care demands.
Recent data from the National Records of Scotland has revealed there will be 240,000 more people of pensionable age in Scotland over the next 25 years and the two developments will help begin to address this gap in the retirement property market.
FirstPort Property Services Scotland’s Regional Manager Elaine Bald says: “Both Muirwood Gardens and Earlsgate are in really lovely locations and offer a refreshing approach to the age-exclusive market. Juniper Residential is a friendly, professional company to work with, and we will manage these developments to a high standard. We look forward to getting to know the new homeowners and building lasting relationships.”
Juniper Residential’s Sales & Marketing Director, Hazel Davies, says:” We are delighted to appoint FirstPort as property manager for Juniper’s flagship developments in Scone and Kinross. They have a demonstrable track record in the retirement sector and share our values of delivering a personable, professional, and high-quality service to all our homeowners”.
Both contracts have enabled FirstPort Property Services Scotland to further expand its existing portfolio in the region and continue to offer its wealth of expertise and experience in residential property management.
